He said' I'm so sorry, all we have is a king master suite' or whatever they call their huge king suites( it was room #236.) We called to him and had him check out the smell in the room. We found a Mgr heading down the hall to assist w another problem on our floor. She quickly sprayed some type of odor reducer all over the carpet and bedding and said 'yes, we were concerned about the smell, it's almost like spoiled milk, if it doesn't go away in a few hours let the front desk know.' Ha! Easy for you to say your not spending the next 20 hours in here! Spoiled milk scent would have been refreshing compared to whatever happened in that room!Īt this point we had enough, our reservation was messed up, we were not sharing adjoining rooms w our friends so we could hang out & share the livingroom part and we had one bed for 3 fully grown people. So we got a room across the hall and down a few from our friends, no big deal, until we opened the door, there was an overwhelmingly vile smell of a gas leak or someone had surely died. We didn't rent a $180 room to sleep on a cot! Ok.we can make that work with one adult, an11& 13 year old.
At check in we were told ,sorry we dont have adjoining rooms available and only have king rooms left, hmmmm.why make a reservation then? We had reserved a double queen room, adjoining to a king suite to share w our friends upon our 5th visit here.
